A download manager for iOS. Actually, all that you need to download files without any external library.

Goals:

• download of a sequence of files
• ease of download of a sequence of files with the same base URL address
• create locally the folders hierarchy mapping the remote path (splitting the URL) or save all files in the same directory
• in case of files the with same base URL address, its components are not used in the folders creation
• downloads happen in background and in a serial fashion
• ability of canceling downloads that are not started yet

If you'd like to include this component as a pod using CocoaPods, just add the following line to your Podfile: pod "ADBDownloadManager"

Try out the included demo project or just run pod try ADBDownloadManager to give it a try.

Simple usage:

• copy ADBDownloadManager class into your project
• import ADBDownloadManager.h in your class
• create the DownloadManager

NSString *documentsDirectory = NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSDocumentDirectory, NSUserDomainMask, YES)[0];
// without base URL
self.downloadManager = [[ADBDownloadManager alloc] initWithLocalPathFolder:documentsDirectory];

• optionally set behaviours

self.downloadManager.forceDownoad = YES; // overwrites files, default is NO
self.downloadManager.createFoldersHierarchy = NO; // avoid the creation of the folders hierarchy, default is YES

• set the delegate and the dataSource

self.downloadManager.delegate = self;
self.downloadManager.dataSource = self;

• implement the ADBDownloadManagerDataSource protocol

• start the manager
