CocoaPods was started in 2011. We are a community run project, with no large-scale corporate backing. We're often asked if we'd do something like t-shirts or hoodies.

We don't want to use CocoaPods' popularity to make money. So, we are putting all profits into a charity.

charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries.

They inspire giving and empower others to fundraise alongside us for sustainable water solutions. Then they use 100% of public donations to invest in local partners on the ground that build and implement the water projects.

When the projects are complete, they prove them with GPS coordinates, photos and information about the impacted communities. They're passionate about connecting those who gave to the communities they've transformed.

We know a bubble when we see one. We see a great opportunity to get in early on the Cocoa Socks business before Apple comes in and deprecates us with the Socks Packaging Manager. :D

So we went straight to the source of the renowned Slack socks, and worked with them on socks of our own. We're going to use their Knitout crowd-funding platform for our socks project
